| The smallest member of the clinical chemistry analyser family and technology platform is the Olympus AU400. With a throughput of up to 800 tests per hour and an on board capacity of 41 different analytes in parallel the Olympus AU400 is the ideal main analyser for small to medium sized laboratories. But it fits as a special chemistry or STAT analyser in large laboratories as well.
The Olympus AU400 has been designed to streamline your workflow and to improve your laboratory capabilities.
More than 100 different Olympus System Reagent (OSR) applications are available, specially designed to match the requirements and features of the new analyser platform. The reagents are barcoded, liquid stable and ready to use, therefore maximising the productivity of the Olympus AU400 in your laboratory.
The system can hold up to 80 primary and secondary tubes in parallel. Different tube sizes may be mixed within the linear racks and can be loaded continuously. Serum indices (hemolysis, icterus, lipemia) are automatically checked to ensure state of the art diagnostics. With a sample volume as low as 2 µl and reaction volumes down to 150 µl the system guarantees cost efficiency even in cases of limited sample material, e.g. paediatric samples. Computer controlled sample- and reagent dispensing in combination with clot detection and crash prevention are additional safety features of the Olympus AU400 which result in a unique system reliability. The maintenance free incubator and the new spot photometer technology boost this aim of 100 % trouble free operations.
The Olympus AU400 user interface is designed to minimise any training requirements. It offers the ability to define the format of the touch screen monitor. Unwanted icons are removed during routine run, thus further enhancing efficiency. User definable software options such as auto rerun or reflex testing expand the convenience for the user.
Due to the refrigerated, barcode reader controlled STAT, control and calibrator rotor 24 hour operations are possible without any analytical down time.
This system security is further improved by context sensitive help screens. Technical support and troubleshooting from your support centre are the final steps to guarantee trouble free diagnostics within your laboratory.
