    reloading capabilities even during fully operations.
A sample transport chain which can handle all commonly used
    tube sizes and types even in parallel to eliminate any manual
    presorting steps
A camera station which recognizes not only the tube type and
    size but also can be used for sample material recognition as
    well as sample volume calculation.
The system offers selective sample tube decapping not only
    for screw and rubber caps but also for tubes with aluminum
    seals to streamline every laboratory workflow.
The aliquoting unit of the system uses disposable tips to
    eliminate any carryover. It is able to generate up to 6
    daughter tubes out of one primary sample tube. The daughter
    tubes are labeled on the aliquoter system automatically with
    a barcode duplicate to eliminate any sample mix ups during
    diagnostics.
Each destination area of an Olympus OLA2500 Series III
    can hold up to 1080 sample tubes in parallel in 6 independent
    output drawers which can be accessed at any time. 
Archiving can be performed either in parallel to sorting
    (to shorten the total work shift) or as a batch after routine
    (to maximise the diagnostic destination area).

The Olympus OLA2500 Series III Standard configuration
    consists of 1 sorter and 1 aliquoter module. It offers the full
    line of functionality for medium laboratories at a throughput
    of up to 750 samples/hour 
The OLA2500 High Speed Full Size System consists of 1
    high speed sorter and 1 aliquoter module. It increases the
    throughput of the system to typically 1000 samples/hour to
    serve large and extra large laboratories
