Olympus Life Science Europa GmbH represents Olympus Diagnostics in the territories of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  The world-wide "centre of competence" for Olympus clinical chemistry and immunochemistry reagents is hosted at the Irish branch of Olympus Life Science Research Europa GmbH (OLREI). The development and production of the laboratory automation systems OLA2500 and the AU-CONNECTOR are based in Munich (Germany) at the Olympus Life Science Research Europa GmbH (OLRE) headquarters.

In Hamburg, Olympus Life Science Europa GmbH - Diagnostics has its headquarters, where it serves its end-users either through the Olympus Europe group companies or through independent distributors.

The headquarter's role comprises overall management, co-ordination and "backup" support in marketing, sales and instrument service for all its distributors and subsidiaries, as well as the overall financial management of the company and the division in Europe.
